1943. Whilst Europe tears itself apart, two women hide from their past at what feels like the very end of the world. And one of them has a terrifying story to tell… “I created life. You don’t believe me but it’s true. I didn’t start from scratch of course but out of portions and odd ends I made something –alive. But what I created… it wasn’t a superhuman. It was a monster.” This new thriller inspired by the classic gothic novel and complete with a stunning original score explores the very fabric of what makes us human and the ultimate cost of chasing “perfection”. Frankenstein is an electrifying reimagining of the world’s favourite horror story that will set minds and spines tingling.

Venue: The Albany Theatre

The Albany Theatre is a multi-purpose arts venue in Earlsdon, Coventry. Housed in a historic Art Deco theatre and with a recent refurb adding brand new studio spaces, the Albany is proud to put on a range of events and activities. From exquisite professional ballet companies to fun-packed tribute acts, local community shows to spectacular off Broadway hits, as well as our very own Christmas production, The Albany’s three theatres play host to dance, drama, music and comedy events both large and small. The beautiful Art Deco main house theatre is joined by two studio theatres and two participatory spaces and the new foyer entrance into the spectacular building includes a bar, meeting area and box office with plans to develop the space further to include a café and gallery.
