Description
Build a model of Coventry from a variety of resources while exploring themes around city planning and transport.
Designed for ages 11 - 16, this workshop will playfully explore themes around city planning that is inclusive for all, yet allows us to think critically about transport in the city. By using a variety of loose parts, we will create a model of Coventry according to the dreams of the children.
Loose parts can include – recyclable materials such as cardboard and bottle tops, and reusables such as lego and snap circuits, as well as natural material such as clay, wood pieces, leaves, flowers, pebbles etc.
As part of this 3-hour workshop, all participating children will receive lunch, served from the museum café, Esquires. Please let any food allergies be known at the time of booking. Parents are not required to stay for the duration of this workshop, but are welcome to, should they wish to.
