War Effort - Battlefield Tour Holiday Winner
06 March 2014
During our last Temporary Exhibition - War Effort, which told the story of Shadow Factories and the workers during the Second World War, we ran our free to enter Prize Draw to win a Battlefield Tour minibreak holiday to the Normandy Beaches of WW2 in Northern France, courtesy of Leger Holidays.
We had a fantastic response with over 2,000 entries from visitors all over the UK.
We are delighted to announce that the winner of this great prize is Mrs. Helen Dawson, formerly of Coventry who now lives in Pudsey nr. Leeds.
Helen was visiting the Transport Museum last year with her husband Stefan and their son Finlay, and along with thousands of others, Helen entered the competition and to her delight won the trip.
Her prize is a Four Day/Three Night stay in Northern France with Leger Holidays visiting the D-Day Normandy Beaches of World War 2.
Congratulations to Helen, we wish her bon voyage on her prize trip later this year.
