Coventry Transport Museum is reopening!
15 April 2021
We are thrilled to announce that after several months of closure, we now have a confirmed date on which we can welcome visitors back. Coventry Transport Museum will reopen to the public on Monday 17 May 2021, subject to government guidance.
14 fully accessible galleries which are home to the fastest vehicle in the world, pioneering bicycles, transport champions and many of the most innovative, memorable, and luxurious vehicles of the last 200 years await you!
While we are working towards reopening, our journey to make our permanent collection and exhibitions digitally accessible has continued through our social media channels, newsletter and on Culture Space Coventry.
See our past and present exhibitions, micro-commissions, artist talks and virtual events, collection features, historical cooking series and other content in the click of a button.
Current highlights include the exhibition, ‘Gearing Up: From Saddle to Spoke’ and ‘Behind the Frame’ which celebrate the history, unique designs, and benefits of cycling, as well as showcasing how bicycles can be a catalyst for a new lease of life and opportunity.
Ahead of reopening we will share further guidance on the measures we are putting in place, alongside useful videos, and Frequently Asked Questions.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you back!
