Dare Devil Ken Returns

05 December 2018

We had a surprise visit to the Museum  from Dare Devil Ken (along with his two sons, David and Brian). He came to see his car (which he donated to the Museum) currently on display in the Coventry Champions Exhibition.

Ken was just 2 years old when he first drove the car around Brandon Speedway in 1933! The toddler Ken was later made the Brandon Speedway mascot; entertaining fans in the tiny petrol car at the beginning of races.

The car was originally painted red and gold, but has since been changed for use by other Malin family members over the years, including his son David.
