Cartists launched in style

Last Friday saw the well received launch of the Cartists exhibition with a special edition of Herbert Lates which transformed the hidden car park at Coventry Transport Museum into a performance space. The after hours Lates event, which usually runs at the Herbert, included music, street food and arty activities!

  

The artworks inside the exhibition were intriguing, startling and ingenious and kept guests returning for another look around throughout the evening. Outside the ever popular Drink and Draw was accompanied by the Street Orchestra of London, DJ Akeel, live drawing and delicious street food from Annie's Antics ice cream and Canoodle. A massively successful night enjoyed by all, this proved the perfect way to launch the Cartists exhibition which runs until October.
