An amazing April Breakfast Car Morning
12 April 2017
For the April 2017 Breakfast Cat Morning at Coventry Transport Museum, we welcomed 83 classic cars and motorcycles onto Millennium Place to bask in the morning spring sunshine.
The cars ranged in age from 1935, a Riley Falcon, up to a 2010 Ford Focus Rally ST3… both in navy blue.
We also had on display a Reliant Kitten Van making its debut, along with a beautiful classic Mercedes 220 SEB from 1965, two Cobras, two Rolls Royce and a Morris Minor Panda Car from 1971…non commission of course!
Our meets are in essence a chocolate box selection gathering of stunning classic cars from bygone decades, accompanied by their passionate owners who love nothing more than parking up, popping the bonnet and talking about their pride and joy.
On any given meet you may see Jaguar cars parked next to a Hillman Imp, or an Aston Martin parked next to a Triumph Herald or even a Russian Trabant. On this Saturday’s meeting we welcomed our first Wartburg from 1964… just amazing. From the motorcycle contingent we welcomed two classic Triumphs, a 1963 Vespa and a Honda CB750/4 from 1973.
The day will start at 9.00am and go through till 4.00pm, on Millennium Place and inside the Museum in Hot Rods and Kool Kustoms, so don’t miss it!
