Jaguar statue leaps into Coventry Transport Museum

06 March 2017

There's a new addition in the Jaguar Gallery at Coventry Transport Museum, a large silver 'leaper' Jaguar.

This is one of the iconic Jaguar leapers that adorned the Browns Lane site in Coventry, home of Jaguar for 65 years and now a Jaguar Land Rover site.

This particular leaper guarded the Education Business Partnership Centre building from 2000 when it was opened by the then Secretary of State for Education, Estelle Morris. It has now been replaced by current Jaguar Land Rover branding and is taking pride of place in the museum's gallery.
