How to make a donation

All donations, large and small, are welcome and make a difference. Please remember to Gift Aid your donation and your support will go even further.

While you are visiting, you can make a donation at any of our donation boxes which are placed around the building.

Our conservation work

Help us ensure that our collection is kept in the best possible condition for display to our visitors both at the Transport Museum and at special events which range from local festivals and commemorations to the heritage stand at Motorcycle Live.

We also conserve and maintain a running collection of vehicles and together with our sister museum the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, maintain one of the UK’s most important archives of British road transport history.

The Collections Care Technicians and curators are experts in their field.  Your donation will enable them to preserve the collections for future generations and to care for future acquisitions.
