Family Saturdays: This makes That with These | Cameras

Join us every first Saturday of the month and explore a new topic in this workshop.

Challenge yourself with fun STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), learn something new and get creative with items from a specially designed challenge kit.

Digital photography is all around us. We very conveniently use our phones to snap a moment, filters and social media can create a perfect piece of art that can be instantly accessed and published. It hasn’t always been like this. Have a wander through the history of photography; explore how a camera works and have a go at making a weird and wonderful camera with a challenge kit. Then create your own photographic print using sun sensitive paper.
