Sensory Stories and Rhymes:
Explore our collections through songs, stories, movement and sensory play. These sessions provide an opportunity for our youngest visitors to engage with our collections in a way that is meaningful to them.

The hands-on nature of these sessions appeal to their imaginations and above all else is fun. Each child will receive a sensory play bag, containing freshly cleaned sensory resources, which helps to keep them engaged for the duration of the session; adds context by using a physical object to give words meaning; extends learning through play and increases their opportunities to develop good listening and language skills.

Mini Museum Engineers:
Get playful with loose parts in our museum galleries to create things that go, tall towers, marvellous marble runs, 'robots' and more! This popular child-led play space will be available to drop into throughout the day. Suitable for all ages.

4D Land Speed Record Simulator:
Experience the thrill of breaking the World Land Speed Record on our 4D Land Speed Record Simulator! Take your seat*, buckle up, and discover for yourself what it's like to drive faster than the speed of sound, across the Black Rock Desert in America.

Exploring STEM with Rob Bennett:
Explore the science and engineering within vehicles with STEM Ambassador Rob Bennett. Get stuck in to some open ended and hands on investigative work around the science of transport that will drive intrigue and curiosity.

Future Engineers:
Join Dr Phil Jemmett and other STEM experts from the University of Warwick WMG department to get hands on with Science.

Playing with Fractals:
Join mathematics students from the University of Warwick to explore the fascinating and perplexing maths of fractals and other geometrical wonders.
