Case studies will cover various topics from SEND activities for family audiences, making gallery spaces interactive and running successful Early Years provision.

- Aisling Serrant, Museum of London Docklands - Community Festivals: Find ways to engage new audiences through community involvement and learn the skills needed to plan large scale including identifying your key stakeholders and overcoming obstacles.
- Lisa Ford, the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Jessica Hartson and Sally Godden, Rugby Art Gallery - Trash to Treasure: Discover ways of utilising scrap store materials for imaginative family activities and immersive spaces, and its many benefits when working on a shoestring budget.
- Nicola Wallis, Fitzwilliam Museum - Creating Stories in Museums: Using the ‘7 kinds of stories’ framework learn Building connections between people, objects and museum spaces through stories.
- Anja Keitel-Campsall, Coventry Transport Museum - STEMtastic! Coventry Transport Museum has gone STEMtastic. Find out about STEM, what it is and how to implement STEM activities for families, as well as simple and effective ways to introduce big ideas.
- Joanna Essen and Vix Powell, Compton Verney - Forest Schools for Families: Learn how Compton Verney have adopted Forest School practice for family audiences and take part in 3 hands-on activities to encourage creative thinking through natural landscapes.
Culture Coventry is an award winning organisation (including 2010 Kids in Museums award winners, and 2017 Kids in Museums shortlisted nominees), and comprises of: Coventry Transport Museum, The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, The Lunt Roman Fort and The Old Grammar School (a 12th century building).
This conference is hosted by Coventry Transport Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of British road transport, including the fastest car in the world. After a stunning £9.5 makeover, packed with new displays, interactive features, and thousands of exciting exhibits; Coventry Transport Museum is regarded as one of the leading visitor attractions in the West Midlands, welcoming nearly half a million visitors a year.
Lunch and refreshments are provided throughout the day.
