Design a Bike of the Future Comp Winners

10 December 2012

Earlier this year we ran a competition for youngsters to Design a Bike of the Future in conjunction with our hugely successful Summer exhibition Pedals to Medals.

We received 60 entries of varying designs and ideas and after three judging sessions involving our Cycle Curator, Education Team and Head of Collections, we decided on the three winners.

Tabitha Dharmadeva - 8 to 14 yrs

Haydn Flaxman - 8 to 14 yrs

Billie Paige Dawson - Over 14 yrs

Each winner has received a new bike and accessories in time for Christmas.

A BIG thank you to everyone who entered the competition, and to Mr. Peter Mitchell - Coventry Transport Museum Trustee Board member who donated the Mountain Bike prize for the Over 14's catagory.

Well done and a happy Christmas!
