Learning

Coventry Transport Museum makes the perfect learning environment for school or family visits.

Teacher-Led Primary Sessions

If you’d prefer to lead your own visit, we have resources available for you and your pupils to use as you explore the museum together. We’ll provide a short welcome and introduction, and will then leave you to work at your own pace. If you don’t want any input or resources from us, you may want to consider a General visit instead.

Our teacher led sessions are £2 per pupil.

Transport Timeline

Working in small groups, you’ll use the activity sheets, clipboards and pencils provided to draw and record vehicles from different decades around the museum. The activities will support pupils’ understanding of the evolution of transport design over time, strengthening their grasp of the concepts of chronology and technological innovation.
